September 26, 2017

Kurt Brown (a.k.a. Vandal Drummond) and Fredo Esparza return with the latest episode of Lucha Clasica as we look back and remember the careers of lucha legend Ruben Juarez and the great Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. 90 minutes looking back at their careers.

We discuss Ruben Juarez time in the Los Angeles, CA territory in the early 70s where he had a memorable feud with Ernie "The Big Cat" Ladd. Plus Juarez career in Mexico as a wrestler, matchmaker and promoter including his time as one of Mexico's top Light Heavyweights during the 1960s and his feud with Los Espantos. We also talk about some of Juarez thoughts on promoting and matchmaking.
